I attended grade school at West Glacier Elementary School, Columbia Falls Junior High, and graduated from Columbia Falls High School (1986). I moved on to college in Bozeman and graduated from Montana State Universitiy with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (GO CATS GO!).
I started teaching 7th and 8th grade Math in the Fall of 1991 at Columbia Falls Junior High. Along the way I have also coached JH Cross Country, sponsored Builder's Club, and assisted with after school programs (Math Tutoring, Saturday School, and private tutoring).
Some of the professional activities that I have been involved with include a MBI member (Montana Behavior Initiative), a Cooperative Learning Teacher Trainer, a District Health Insurance Committee member, as well as a Math Curriculum writer.
I am married to a great guy, Ron, and we have two fun boys, Winslow and Walton. I enjoy hiking camping, fishing, canoeing, biking, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing in beautiful Northwester Montana with my family and friends. I enjoy gardening and hanging out at home too.
