I was born and raised right here in Columbia Falls. I graduated from Columbia Falls High School In 1972. In the fall of 1972, I attended the University of Montana and received a bachelor degree in Health and Physical Education in 1978.
My first teaching job was in Glasgow Montana from 1978-1981, where I taught elementary physical education and coached football and basketball. In the fall of 1982, I started teaching in Colstrip Montana doing once again, elementary physical education and coaching. During my years in Colstrip, I also taught High school PE, ran the swimming pool, and started teaching driver education.
It was during my second year in Colstrip that I met my wife Cathy and in 1987, we were married. All four of our children (Callie 22, Cami 21, Tim 20, and Megan 17) were born there and in 1997, we moved to Columbia Falls. Since here, I have been teaching at the middle school, Health and PE. Currently, I teach classroom Health, coach eighth grade football, and teach driver’s education. My wife Cathy teaches fifth grade over at Ruder elementary.
